An advanced measuring tool using your iPhone camera. A handy alternative to the laser distance meter.
Site Survey can accurately measure distances up to 30 metres - 100 feet.

All you need is your iPhone and a standard size sheet of paper - A4, A3, Letter or Ledger.

Fantastic for finding out the height of a tree or hedge, the area of a room, height of a building or the size of a garden plot.

The application uses the camera in real time. Take your photo and tap the target distance will appear automatically. Sights can then be adjusted for measuring horizontally, vertically and diagonally. You can then zoom in/out - very easy to use.

Externally, fix your paper/card target to a small stand - i.e. warning triangle or similar.

For internal use simply fix your paper target to opposing wall, window or surface. Now works with dark coloured paper sheets useful for rooms with white walls..

You can accurately measure internal rooms and areas - then quickly get widths of windows, entrances and ceiling heights.

Each screen, displaying measurements, can be saved to photo library or emailed on.
The complete site survey stored on your iPhone.

Works on all iPhones

Best Ive found
I am measuring tree heights in the woods. Was using a little scope, knowing the distance u r standing from the tree. The measurment was very Unreliable and a pain to set up. This app worked as advertised. It appears to b very accurate, quick and simple. Tested on things I could measure and was right on the mark. Make sure your sighting paper is perpendicular and straight up and down for a good measurment. I mounted it on a long stake. Worked well.
I hope an update comes soon.
This app has potential, but its estimates are to far off for my tastes. If i was measuring trees, it would be close enough. But i want to measure something like a book. It thought the height was 4 inches higher than it was. The algorithm needs improvement.
.
Do not buy this app. Will not work.
Questionable utility
Maybe works, but you have to place a piece of A4 paper next to the object in your photo
Pro price, no functionality
At a price higher than most apps, i was expecting a better app. It simply couldnt find the target paper every time, and the measurements were off.
